Grades were posted yesterday on edline. I love that I am able to find out information quickly. Only the upper grades get to leave at lunch. I think an open campus instills responsibility and trust in students. I have had 4 of my own children go through Show Low High School. Yes at times they were discriminated against for what we felt were religious reasons but over all we are very pleased with everything. In life after High School you have to cope with many things that are unfair. I think this school helps to give my children the tools needed to deal with that in real life. We love the extra classes that help them learn about careers that could be open to them with a little more education. The flexible Navit schedules are outstanding. Yes there is way too much emphasis on sports, like every high school. Good job

Disapline is almost non-existant at the school and the grading scales are often unfair. I do not recomend this school, students are given too much freedom, and are even allowed to leave the school campus during the lunch period.

Show Low High school is an amazing school. They have an outstanding football program and a brilliant set of teachers.

After going to Show Low High for 3 years I thought the school could use a little more help, but what school doesn't ?. The high school needs to get a grip on how they fund their programs and what programs need more and what programs got to much. Over all the school is ok. Maby a little bit more security for the good students.

We test kids at the end of the year and beginning. Kids that don't keep up during the summer take a giant step backwards. If our kids do complain about homework, we ask them,"Do you want to work for a company, or own the company?"

No. Let the children have a break. Let their minds focus on being children. They'll have plenty of homework when they go back to school. I would not even consider enforceing summer homework for my children. They need stress free playtime.

Yes. Of course summer is for fun however they can take a brake from homework 2 weeks or so, not the whole summer. If you teach a child the importance of learing they will enjoy the homework even in the summer.
