I love esc east side elementary for those unfamiliar. My oldest is in fourth grade and she has attended esc since kindergarten she has maintained principle's list every single quarter except one which was honorroll since she started. She has never failed a profiency and neither has my second grade son who has also maintained principles list every quarter. I also have a kindergartener and she is doing well too. My children have never had I teacher that I do not like and all the teachers and staff know all my children by name. I love esc.
My children have attended ESC since they were in Kindergarten and is in 5th now, and my other in Junior high. I had intradistrict tranfers for my child to attend the school for the last 3-4 years. I like ESC because my childs friends are there, I do not believe in tranferring kids from school to school (that is confusing for the kids) and my kids are passing with honors or principals list. They have always passed the proficiencies tests required by Ohio. If ESC is sooo bad then why are my kids doing soo well. The teachers have seen the potential in my children and I believe msny of the teachers have challenged my children in the classroom. I am sure there are harder schools out there that may also help my children but right now ESC will do. The schools of Toledo have adopted a uniform policy, too.
