Both of kids attended or attend this school. My kids are guided to succeed and addressed as individuals and not numbers. That makes all the difference for a child to look back at the school fondly.

My children consistantly came home with a smile on their face. they loved school. The leadership of an outstanding principal and exceptional teaching staff I would highly recommend this school over all others. It is a fun, welcoming environment with exceptional learning. 7-stars!

Wonderful teachers and principal. They have challenge classes for each subject. I definitely recommend this school among all MI schools.

Central Woodlands is a fantastic school! The teachers are all overachievers - seeking to create a warm and friendly, yet intellectually challenging environment. All students are challenged appropriately at their own level. The academic expectations are high but not out of reach. Students at this school continue to score above 90% on their state assessment test - the MEAP. Besides the basics, students participate in Art, Lifeskills, Computer, Spanish, Music and P.E. This school contains only 5th and 6th grade students and successfully meets the unique needs of this age level - socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually. My sons thoroughly enjoyed their time at Central Woodlands and were well prepared for academic life once they got to the middle school.

No. I have heard of teachers setting up FB pages on areas of study so students can use technology as a learning tool. All posts are public and private messages are disabled. I won't even friend former students. I do it as a rule-no hurt feelings.

No! As an educator, I don't want to be held responsible for what students are doing outside of the classroom.

Absolutely not. Most schools offer the homework question site through the school system. They do not need to be "friends" with their students through social networking sites.
