I have one child who has graduated from PCES and one child who is currently in the 3rd grade. I could not be more pleased with the school. The teachers and staff are dedicated and loving. My children have both excelled on standardized testing through the years. They are boys and would never say that they love school but I know them and know that they do. Homework has always been consistent making it easy for me as a parent to know what I need to do to help my kids do well. I am confident that they are being prepared to be HOPE recipients in the future.

School is fairly new and still has quite a few kinks that need working out. Violence in the school from children is little to none because of the preventive measures that may seem absolutely insane at first may be why there isn't any. Curriculum is pretty hard as it is striving to make students more advanced than in the past. Lots of homework for grades 2-5, but children either will like school when moving to 6th grade or it could possibly make them dislike it. The big issue is do you want your child to be extremely advanced or would you prefer that your child just make it to graduation rather than dropping out. Drop out statistics are high for this era. I feel that schools need to focus on trying to make children enjoy learning so that they will stay in school, and the school needs to stop trying to be the top school system in the state. This is one of these schools unfortunately.
