Most people who are complaining about the teachers are the ones who do NOT take an active involvement in their children's education. Some of the coaches aren't pros, but do I hear anyone offering to help here? No. You don't get to sit back and accuse the teachers of not caring because they are doing their best to keep an atheletic program running. What you DO is take an active role in your children's education and go out and HELP with the fundraisers so they get training, and you HELP with the sports you know how to play. Stop complaining and take an active role in changing the situation! Your kids are YOUR responsibility. Do we pay more taxes to buy more paper? Are you kidding? Our taxes are awesome here. I moved away to a more upscale area and can't WAIT to get back! This district ROCKS!
Penns Grove H.S. is just a great place to go to high school. Wonderful teachers. It is a great melting pot.
The school has changed this year. Student and teacher care about each other and now talk there problems. our pear lrader programs help us get ready for what we have go though out the day in high school
I think PGHS would be a much better school if more of the teachers really cared about their work and the students. Both my daughters attend this school and the stories I have heard from them completely shocked me. Many times have they come home and expressed that their teachers don't care whether they do the work or not. Some of them even lose the childrens paperwork or even show favoratism towards one gender or another. That isn't right, when your a teacher, a student is a student and you are there to teach them to the best of your ablility.
