I think that SVHS does a remarkable job of teaching kids. The school cannot be blamed if the child does not want to participate. I feel that everyone from the pprincipal to the teachers truly care about my child's education, and welcome parental involvement. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is because of safety concerns. I was visiting recently and witnessed some harassment, including some directed at me, a parent. There needs to be more supervisory involvement in the hallways, especially while changing classes. PS, SVHS is a blessing after dealing with SVMS. Now that is a terrible school.
They do nothing at all? So when certain instances happen and when the teachers respond as quickly and orderly as possible assuring the students are safe and out of the way of harm such as insuring lock downs and blocking hallways to keep from other students getting involved makes this school horrible? High school is generally designed to prepare its students for college, if you plan to attend you'll see that colleges will expect much more out of their students and you will be thankful your english teacher and phyics teachers gave you so much homework. They're trying to be as helpful as possible to make sure state requirements are met and so that the students get out what they put into it.

this school is horrible. there are so many fights and the teachers dont help at all. they expect too much and dont teach what you need to now to pass.
