I graduated from Crab Orchard. I think the school has great potential, but it needs to offer its students more. We as students are held back on excelling due to there not being any real advanced classes. It's a very nice school and great for one-on-one relations. I would also send my own children there someday.

Crab Orchard is an excellent school system in which to work and/or learn. Parent participation is encouraged and welcomed. Academics and activities work together to make this a well-rounded environment. A new building and well-structured security measures make it a safe school. I am proud to have this school in my community.

This could be a good school if the principal...Mr. Hutchins would allow more parents to be involved instead of telling the parents to stop overreacting.

It is critical to the success of the school. Great leadership means great students and staff very high moral at the school.

Very important - a school and its staff is only as strong as is leader. If the school has strong leadership then the school will also be strong.
