When my child was starting Kindergarten we visited and researched elementary schools all over the area. After all of our research we chose Hancock. The principal and teachers care about the kids and the school. They have great resources to offer the children. I challenge anyone who pre-judges the school because of it's location to visit and or do the research. We are very happy with our decision to put our child in Hancock.

As a substitute in the district, I've noticed Hancock Elementary to be one of the best schools due to the great and professional staff that work very hard to ensure the students are safe and learning is occuring. Students are exposed to 90 minutes of Math, and 90 Minutes of Reading/Writing a day, as well as one Specialty class each day of the week.

By doing it in the funnest way possible,we have to make it exciting for them. Maybe reward them after they are done AND DID THERE BEST. Parents must be totally involved.

You shouldn't, have a study hall if they need help. When you learn you need a teacher, students can study on their own time.
