Avella has always been an outstanding school district with the pupils coming out very intelligent and getting very high scores in college. The teachers really care about our students. The principal is big on safety issues so I always feel that my children are safe. The parents are always involved. The elementary has an optional summer school program every year for two weeks, they pick a topic for example last year was oceans and everything they learned revolved around that including the food. The kids love it my son can't wait until summer school. I have a sixth grader and a second grader and they both are doing extremely well and love school. I praise our staff for a wonderful job.
