Makes me think that the 'ranter' hasn't ever been to Westside, or if they have, did not take the time to understand what was going on around them before passing innacurate judgement. WVMS seeks for children to do their personal best, and they should be praised when they achieve it.

My son is in his kindergarten year at Westside and I am amazed at how much he has learned this year--he's learned to read this year, add and subtract. He's also learned about slavery and early settlers. He is really enjoying the school, and its obvious that the teachers care very much. He loves their extracurricular Lego Club. The facilities are great as well. I wasn't sure at the start of the year since the school isn't the same type of traditional learning environment that I was raised in, but seeing what he's achieved at our conferences and through his everyday activities, I'm very impressed.
