forest oak is a very good school. Itook my son out of private school, and put him in FO, due to the fact he couldn't read going into 2nd grade, with in the first 2 months I saw a hugh difference! I can't stop him now! I would recommend this school.

Forest Oak teachers, my former teachers especially, care about the quality of learning atmosphere. They care about tests, and how your child is keeping up with his or her priorities. Lots of parents are involved in the PTA and extracurricular activities. This is a wonderful school. I would reccomend this school.

I go in every Monday and help with the Kindergarten reading group or play word games. Then I eat lunch with my child. I also attend and bring things to all school parties. Since I volunteer only on Mondays I do not burn out. : )

Our school gives us mandatory hours (15) that we must give to the school in one way or the other. It is very easy if you don't mind stuffing envelopes or being a lunch mom. I think they even give working moms the opportunities to work on paperwork.... More »
