Mr Benser and the Merit staff ROCK! The MEAP scores are fantastic. The students who are excelling are challenged and given higher grade level work. The students who are struggling are give the extra help by having smaller groups divide upon two teachers. What more could you ask for? The boys basketball took 2nd and the girls JV cheerleaders took 1st. My 2nd grader loves it as much as I do. It takes a great leader to have the school running as well as it does. Thank you Ms. Benser for being that great leader! I hope they never lose you. My son has 6 more years to go and I wouldn't want to see anyone come in and ruin the great school you have created. Merit also has a great Music, Spanish, Art and Social Studies teacher. Parents are in constantly supporting the school with what ever is needed.
