I really appreciate what this school has done for my daughter. She joined the class last October when our family moved from Korea. It was the first time for her to step on the ground of a foreign country. She couldn't speak even a bit of English. But, Mrs. Lohman did a great job for my kid as well as the other children. My daughter didn't have any problem with learning the new culture and getting along with new friends. Now she speaks English like a native American kid. She was selected as the student of month last month. I can't express my appreciation enough...

Thanks for a great job teaching our children. I greatly appreciate the caring role of dedicated teachers such as Mrs. Loehman, Mrs. Keys and Mr. Irish. You are having a positive effect on the lives of the children in your class! The academics and overall high standards at Echo Lake are very encouraging to me as an educator for almost 30 years.

I found the academic program of this school comparable to the private Christian school my son was in his first year. There is good communication between school and parents; your questions get answered expeditiously. There isn't alot of sports available at this school. With it's proximity to Shoreline pool it'd be nice for the elementary schools in Shoreline to have a swim program. In addition, a drama program would be nice. There is alot of parent involvement and students seem to be well-behaved and disciplined. Although I think I've spoken to the principal once in 3 years.

You get what your tax dollars pay for! Excellent school for the money in my opinion.

Check to see if students with disabilities are a priority because otherwise the state doesn't pay for that child to go to School if they don't have a disability your child has to be put on a waiting list for pre-k! if their not

1.Go on a tour of a school tour 2. Talk to the director (and the teacher your child will have) about what the students day like. 3. Watch school in session 4. Look out for red flags: neglected children at play, lazy, non engaging teachers
