Exactly what you would expect from a traditional minority school. Behavior is a problem with little teacher support from the District and new Supt. Instead of using established practices that work, every year the District administration trries to reinvent the wheel. Teacher moral is low, overt racism exists, and that old adage that the inmates run the institution is the norm. When a student does absolutly nothing for the first two quarters, teachers have to 'give' them a grade of 60 or above, regardless of their average. A student makes a 0 for only placing his name only on a test, at the end of the grading period he must have a 60. This is to insure that he will not find it too hard to catch up when he decides to work in the second semester. Extra curricular activities are a joke, the students have very little to pick from.
Very poor school. Kids have no respect for teachers. The few that want to learn can't due to the horrible behavior of others. Teachers are underpaid, underappreciated, and treated horribly by all.
