The great thing about this school is the community support and parental involvement. My children had excellent teachers and a great learning environment. The unique blessing of this school is the diversity it exposes the children to, and at such an impressionable age, on top of the learning my children gained, was the exposure and acceptance of different cultures and ethnicity. Wish more schools had this diversity.

This school has done an excellent job in raising all the student's scores. The Principal there has led the school from corrective action to In Good Standing. Great school, lots of Mormons.

Laie school is the best on the whole northshore coast of Oahu. My children both can read because of the teachers.

I go in every Monday and help with the Kindergarten reading group or play word games. Then I eat lunch with my child. I also attend and bring things to all school parties. Since I volunteer only on Mondays I do not burn out. : )

Our school gives us mandatory hours (15) that we must give to the school in one way or the other. It is very easy if you don't mind stuffing envelopes or being a lunch mom. I think they even give working moms the opportunities to work on paperwork.... More »
