Overrated. It is 'okay' just not as great as everyone seems to think before having their kid enrolled. Stale teaching and hyper-intense parents. The strong, highly educated gene pool can account for the high standardized testing scores coming out of this school!

Upham is a very good school, but my child complains often about the principal who started the '03-'04 year. Upham has excellent academics, but can never compare to the top private schools in the area. My only complaint is that the principal is very bad and children do not have a proper role model to look up to. The principal does not understand how to be a leader, and take criticism.

Excellent academics, caring teachers, and a wide array of activities for all interests -- what more can you say? This is an off-the-charts school, and we and our children are fortunate to attend.

Definitely! I believe that families should be allowed to attend any school they want, because there are some who went to a good school and parents want what's best for their kids. Even education.
