Safety, discipline, and academics have gone from excellent to very poor in 10 years. The Youngstown District is now rated as the lowest scoring in the state.
my son is so traumatized at this school,has never dealt w/anything like this in his life!not conducive for learning,really just one big mad house!its a shame,we live in a wonderful neighborhood,just wish the school was functioning on higher standards!
Chaney is the worst school that i have ever gone to this includes winsconsin and oklahoma they have no disapline uniform is the dumbest thing ever it dosent work they dont care about it the teachers dont teach rules change like the wind were not allowed to use the rest rooms during class because they cant control there kids the staff is horrible and the school is in genaral if you have a A average you will propley have a C ant wear esle i hate wakeing up to go every morning
I really feel that Chaney is just one of the many wonderful aspects of Youngstown. I graduated from there in 2004. I have since relocated to Virgina Beach. I do believe that the teachers concentrate on the students individualy.
