This is a great schoo! My child has done very well academically and loves to attend school. I really need to thank Mrs. Arreola for focusing on high academic standards for my child. My child had good grades all last year and her California State Test scores were the best ever--Advanced in math and language arts! Mrs. Arreola encouraged my child academically, made them feel successful, and challenged. The principal is dedicated, friendly, approachable, and takes pride in the school. The campus is beautiful, clean, and it has indoor hallways.

My son is in kindergarten and he loves his school. He's learning so much. He has a great teacher. The school is very nice and clean. It has been a better experience than we have anticipated kindergarten to be for our son.

My daughter just attended her first day of kindergarten and came home all smile. Each child and parent was greeted at the door. Her teacher, Ms. Karr, had a wonderful transition activity for the kids. She read the 'Kissing Hand' for students and parents. (It's about a racoon that goes to his first day of school.) As a departure, each parent gave their child a kiss to the hand to help with being homesick. Within the first minutes of reading, she was already discussing the role of author, left vs. right hands and colors. To make this an even more wonderful experience, Ms. Karr prepared a small treat bag for parents that contained a poem about transitions. This teacher really gets it: a smooth transition into kindergarten is as much about supporting the parent as it is about educating the child. Thanks, Ms. Karr.

Our daughter attended kindergarten at Rosa Parks last year. Most things went very well. Her teacher was just OK however (Miss Sarlea). The principal was very good.
