The greatest place to work. Great teachers, Principals, Office staff, cafeteria ladies, and the greatest people who keep our school shining.

Gilbert Elementary School has the most dedicated staff in the state. The students come to school with a desire to learn and the teachers encourage this and make sure that their experiences are positive. There is no other school that compares. The collaboration is ever-present and so very effective. The sense of family is second to none. Gilbert is truly the educational setting that rests on the cutting edge in all areas.

Gilbert is more than a school. It is a family. The school has been around since 1994, but it looks brand new. The school has been blessed with great teachers and long line of awesome administrators. The current principal is Brad Hayes. He is a positive role model for our young people. I rank Gilbert a the top of the list in Georgia. You always feel welcomed at Gilbert. I love being apart of the Gilbert family.

Resources are very tight at our school. Parents must pick up the slack and provide what the school simply cannot afford. no one where I live would complain about that though. we all do the best we can for all the children and hope for better times in the future.

You get what your tax dollars pay for! Excellent school for the money in my opinion.

Check to see if students with disabilities are a priority because otherwise the state doesn't pay for that child to go to School if they don't have a disability your child has to be put on a waiting list for pre-k! if their not

1.Go on a tour of a school tour 2. Talk to the director (and the teacher your child will have) about what the students day like. 3. Watch school in session 4. Look out for red flags: neglected children at play, lazy, non engaging teachers
