My kids love it here and I feel they're getting a wonderful education. I'm glad we chose this area, it's so focused on education, community and family.

They still have all the arts, orchestra, science, after school events, summer school, gate classes, and great teachers.

Not only does our school academically challenge our children, it also knows the value of the arts and offers the children music (chorus and orchestra) as well!

They could be doing much more to earn money by collecting more then just BoxTops & Soup Labels. There are Capri Sun Drink Pouches, Used cell phones, laptops, empty ink/toner cartridges. They should look at TerraCycling.com What is PTA REALLY doing?

It is great to teach our kids to give to others-within limits. Support without demanding! I boycott school fundraisers; donate elsewhere to show real value in helping where needed.

From the asking perspective (such as schools asking students to donate to causes) frequent appeals for donations creates real problems for families who cannot afford to donate to every appeal or cause. Stop pressuring kids for money.
