My children attended NPDS from the time they were infants until they were ready for school, and it was a wonderful, safe and nurturing learning environment. I work in child welfare, so I know the Licensing standards well, and I was very impressed with the programming as well as the staff at NPDS. They truly care about the children in their dayschool and go the extra mile; I can't recommend this facility highly enough! Northwood Presbyterian Day School is an extraordinary daycare with a long history of excellence!
This is a great school run by a truly caring and involved group of people. Best of all the school has a fabulous balance between outdoor play and learning and indoor activities. I must have visited 7 preschools before settling on NPDS and I can tell you the school's playground is unique in its diversity, creativity and size. And because it's not one of a 'chain' of preschools, you don't get that 'production line' feeling that some schools have. The music and tumbling classes, which each take place twice a week and at no extra charge are also a huge bonus. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend NPDS to any parent of a preschooler - it's one of a kind!
