I have nothing but praise for Roberts. The principal and office staff go above and beyond for their students and have changed the image from a poor performing school to one of the best in the city. It is a long road and hard work to undo the neglect from the past but they are succeeding! Parents do need to get involved and take pride in their child's education. It will inspire their children to do better.
Roberts has been a great experience for my kid so far. I have been an involved parent in his education and am supported by his teacher and other staff. I believe Roberts pays close attention to the quality of their teachers and uses the funding they recieve to hire the better teachers to keep the class room ratios small. I am disappointed with the lack of parent involvement at this school.

My only problem with this school is the lack of information that comes home to let parents know what's going on. I have been clueless on a few occasions and have haad to rely on the information on the school sign.

I think that this is a sorry excuse for a school and the principal and administrators and parents need to wake up! I'm appalled that this school does not think that spelling tests, & vocab lessons are not important. There test scores show it. And they can't keep teachers. My daughter has had 3 teachers this school year alone. Her current teacher is a long term substitute. This school caters to 'bilingual' education only and because of this we have students who do not wish to excel because they are not encouraged to do so. Everything is made easy for them. 'Lets not hurt their feeling' is a stupid philosophy.
