High numbers of children labeled as having learning disabilities resulting in a slow, boring learning process for the average and above average students. The gifted program is a disgrace. It is only offered for 30 min- 1 hour twice a week at the most for grades 3-6. There is also a large number of teachers that don't stay, and most are straight out of college with little experience. Unfortunately our school is in a small community with little funding to make the staff (including principles and superintendents) want to stay. The extracuricular activities are poor also due to poor funding and lack of volunteers.
