My son currently attends the elementary school and loves it. We started last year in the pre-k program mid-way through the year and I was so thankful to have him there. He's very high energy and requires a more alternative approach to doing things rather then just sitting at a desk. I felt like his teacher was open to trying new ways instead of just punishing him for not following 'the rules'. I plan on leaving him in this school for elementary and then maybe moving elsewhere. The fundamentals that are taught here are head and shoulders above the rest of the county's public school. They may not have a lot of 'Extras' to add in the way of sports etc. for the older kids- but for now, elementary is where it's at for me! I'd recommend this school to anyone with young children!

This is my daughters forst year, she loves the school with one exception, it's higher grading standards but she is more determined to work on it this year. Over all I likethis school and have never had any issues and when I have questions they are answered promply.
I attended the PTF meeting last night. The information given was that SMCA's standardized testing scores are well above the national standards! So, not only are my children getting a nurturing school environment where their teachers pray before each class, but a top notch education! Thanks to all of the teachers and their awesome curriculum! Thanks be to God for his abundant blessings on SMCA!

If SMCA isn't required to attend teacher conferences, why do they do it every year? You know how most schools don't get out for Thanksgiving break untile Wednesday. We get out the whole week, because our tescher are at a conference. Every year it alternates between elementary and secondary teachers going to a conference. This year it was secondary. Before you make assumptions get your facts straight. I'm working on my tenth year at SMCA and I love it as much as a kid can love a school. I have great techers who really care about all of us.
