I personaly dont like the school. The school puts on a front for parents so they think its a great school. There is nothing special about it. Some of the teachers are ok, but i can see right through most of them and the principal leadership is completley screwed up. If your child does something they dont like and they cant get them in trouble for it, they'l make up an excuse and send that home to you, the parent. Naturally, you may believe the principal over your child because your not there to supervise and they know this so they use it to their advantage. Its their way of 'getting back' at the students. If you dont believe me, ask any of the student body or anyone that used to go there. The next time your child gets in trouble, i recommend you investigate. I am a student, i know.
North Surry is just the type of school you look forward to actually going to.The people are nice, the cafeteria food is great, what else could someone possibly ask for from their school? North Surry might not be the fanciest school around, but it's like a second to home to a lot of us.I do believe that North Surry deserves to win,it would help a lot.
I recently moved to this area and have been impressed with the educational opportunities students are receiving at NSHS. The halls are quiet, and the teachers are busy leading students in varied meaningful instruction. We are developing a community of pride at NSHS. Our pride is beginning to show in our test scores and in student morale.
