Thomas Jefferson Elementary has fantastic school spirit, a challenging ciriculum and teaches our younger generation the meaning of respect and good manners. This is an art that has been lost in most current school systems and it is nice to see a school that respects the importance of manners in its student body. TJ also places a good amount of importance on making sure the student body understands that they must challenge themselves to succeed and that with every failure there is a lesson to learn. Go Tigers!

My Son had to move from Sugar Creek to Thomas Jefferson when we purchased our new home. He was very nervous at first, but he has had many really wonderful experiences there. All of the staff, right down to the kitchen and cleaning crew are really friendly and the kids feel their energy and respond to all the positive attitudes & encouragement that is demonstrated everyday. I would highly recommend this school to anyone!

Thomas Jefferson has been a pleasant surprise. Though one of the oldest school buildings in the area, what the staff... and school culture focuses on is anything but old or stale! The atmosphere is possitive, energetic and has a pleasantly safe undercurrent. We have two boys, one in fourth and one in first grade. Their teachers are extremely well suited to each of them. Our fourth graders teacher has had alot of success with motivating the class in learning some fairly dry concepts with creativity and ongoing encouragment and support. Our first grader has been a human sponge for knowledge and social accountability. The programs that the school authorizes are wonderful at creating excitement and interest in what the students are learning about. TJ has an awesome motto and a very harmonious environment. I especially appreciate their 'Rise & Shine' on Friday morning. It is basically a pep-rally...school is fun here!

All four of my kids have or are currentally attending Thomas Jefferson. I am impressed on a weekly basis by the leadership of this school. The environment is warm and inviting. Students feel welcomed, safe and loved by the staff. Expectations are set high, and students feel empowered to meet those expectations because they know they have a team of teachers and administrators that will support them. My kids look forward to going to school everyday! I can't say enough good about TJ. I wouldn't send my kids anywhere else.
