Palmyra middle school employs a team approach, making the transition to middle school a lot easier for 6th graders. Mrs. Berman is a superior math teacher. Palmyra middle school has excellent teachers. However, they need to get firm with the trouble students. They are weak when it comes to disciplining problem students.

We have 2 children in the Palmyra School District. One in Kindergarten and the other in sixth grade. I believe the success of this school district can be attributed to educational programs that require parent involvement. Be ready to check the backpacks every night and to provide support to your child in homework assignments that will not only challenge them, they will also have you scratching your head! Kudos to what we have found to be a school district that does not 'settle'...they inspire and challenge.

No. I have heard of teachers setting up FB pages on areas of study so students can use technology as a learning tool. All posts are public and private messages are disabled. I won't even friend former students. I do it as a rule-no hurt feelings.

No! As an educator, I don't want to be held responsible for what students are doing outside of the classroom.

Absolutely not. Most schools offer the homework question site through the school system. They do not need to be "friends" with their students through social networking sites.
