I had a horrible experience with this school. The administration was not helpful, and the teachers were truly apathetic. I never want to set foot in this town again.

Good teachers. Great school. Very innovative programs. Students who put forth the effort will excel.

Maybe some of the kids do OK in this type of environment--but mine did not. The leadership by the principals and teachers was very disappointing. One of my son's teachers fell asleep in class almost everyday.

This school is very representative of the small town clickish mentality. Academically I give the school an average rating. I also feel there's little administrative concern regarding diversity and feel socially there's an economic class and racial division that is reminiscent of the 1950s. Relocating to Sikeston schools from the West Coast was culture shock, stepping backward several decades in time, although local townspeople often pretend differently in the professionally written brochures of the town's attributes. A thumbs down on the school system. Be prepared to teach the academics and social skills outside of school that your child will need to live in a wider world.
