This school is not conducive to the learning process. The student merely are taught what them need to know to take the district and state test but they do not learn. They expect all the students to learn on the same level, which in my opinion and in the opinions of other parents is higher that what it should be. Students are made to learn the information they are not supposed to learn until the following grades. Who ever heard of kinder and firstgrader learning algebra. This school is not very excepting of students with disablities either. Parents of students with disability have to fight to hard for the basic needs of their children. The only saving grace of this school is the faculty and staff. Who try there best to help the student succeed dispite the growing push for high test score at the expense of learning.

my son has been at Zela Davis for a few month now and so far this school has shown me that they care about their students. They are trying to do as much as they can to make sure our children succeed.
