This is my son's second year at Eucalyptus Elementary. I was hesitant to enroll my child into this school but my son's school experience and educational achievements demosntrate that he is doing very well at this school. This school actually made a great improvement in their API growth target. The staff and teachers are envolved in the child's progress. There is a new principal, Mrs. Janson. She is very nice and seems to have many projects for the school's continual progress.

This school has a bigger class size. But I believe teachers are very attentive to their student. Parents need to be more involved to do better. Another inportant issues are to have homework check everyday. If substitute teacher taking class. That teacher need to be up to date on students progress. Otherwise it will wasting time for student those days attending school. Simple way to get up to date

Our six-grader Daughter, enjoys the freedom of choice. We allow her to pick and choose as she makes good choices, she has demonstrated responsibility in her decisions. Making (Pizza) & Tomatoes) are Vegetables came from USDA. Freedom of Choice.

No. I prepare my son's lunch just about every day due to his special needs so I know what he is consuming both for him and his class. I want to be aware of all ingredients in all foods/drinks which he is consuming.

If it is to keep allergic kids safe, then no. A strict rule of no peanuts or pb&j should be enough. My child's school had a peanut free table for double insurance. If for "nutritional" reasons, then NO! Since when is pizza a veggie????... More »
