The special education team seem to care about the children and work with parents. The Health/Physical Education program offers a wide variety of activities for excercise, learning and fun. The students seem to do well academically based on standardized tests.
This is my daughter's second year at Toano. We moved from Maryland last year. I think Toano is great and so does she. The students and staff accepted her in with open arms and made our transition that much easier. We were worried about the Honors program when we got here but it has proven itself to be good and challenging for her. And she doesn't mind the uniforms at all, they are an equalizer. Now don't get me wrong she is happy to be going to high school next year and getting to wear her own clothes but she doesn't hate the uniforms.

This is my first year at Toano and I think it's great. The teachers are so kind and encourage us to do our best.

I'm a student at tms and I think that this is such a wonderful school . This is my last year at tms and out of the 3 years of learning here I found out that toano teachers will do and thing to help us excel in our work . we have some very loving teachers who care about us and will help us in any way. I will be sad to leave this great school but, because of two of my teachers I want to go to college and get a masters degree in english so I can teach their! And last is Uniforms Are OK ! If any teachers are reading this most of you know me ;)
