I can't help from thinking that the Greybull El. School ranks high because they have a fantastic phonetic and spelling program called VoWac. It starts in Pre- K [Early Beginnings] and runs through 3rd grade. Their Lang. Arts scores, I am sure, have sored since this program began. I believe most schools do not provide a 4 yr phonetic program which I feel is esential. I truly believe that the state should enforce such a program. Too often each room has their own program. There will be a new principal at this school next year. This is a school with very dedicated teachers.

You get what your tax dollars pay for! Excellent school for the money in my opinion.

Check to see if students with disabilities are a priority because otherwise the state doesn't pay for that child to go to School if they don't have a disability your child has to be put on a waiting list for pre-k! if their not

1.Go on a tour of a school tour 2. Talk to the director (and the teacher your child will have) about what the students day like. 3. Watch school in session 4. Look out for red flags: neglected children at play, lazy, non engaging teachers
