I became legal guardian of my niece and nephew when they were 7 and 9 yrs old. They both attended Murphy Elementary School. The youngest (my nephew) had a lot of problems in school as a result of the severe parental neglect he suffered as a child. The teachers and administrators were very helpful to my nephew and to me. Great school!

I love this school. They are very patient and my son gets everything he needs includin extra help if and when he needs it. The teachers are patient and understanding. The principal was amazing when I enrolled my child.

No. I have heard of teachers setting up FB pages on areas of study so students can use technology as a learning tool. All posts are public and private messages are disabled. I won't even friend former students. I do it as a rule-no hurt feelings.

No! As an educator, I don't want to be held responsible for what students are doing outside of the classroom.

Absolutely not. Most schools offer the homework question site through the school system. They do not need to be "friends" with their students through social networking sites.
