I have 2 kids at East High 1 a senior and 1 in special ed...East is a wonderful school I could'nt be more pleased with the education both my kids are receiveing, and the care my son receives in special ed

I hated East High for my grand-daughter. We recently moved here from Ohio and was very excited to get her enrolled and meeting new friends. We came late into the year, and the Principal, Mr. Johnson, (or any of the counselors for that matter) did nothing to help her get involved in sports or any kind of clubs or programs. She was sent to Miller boyd Alternative School by a mistake, and I think this school needs a new principal to help these students really enjoy high school.

As my son entered high school i was very nervous; however East High has been a pleasant surprise to me. Mr. Johnson and his staff are willing to listen and offer help if there is a problem and the teachers welcome parent involvement,it's a shame more parents do not take the time. Overall moving into high school has been an ok thing. My child's involvement in band has been an wonderful opportunity and he is receiving excellent leadership from Mr.Chance. As with all schools there are some students that are discipline problems. I feel my child and are fortunate that he is in the east high district.
