If you asked my 2 children what their favorite years in school were, and what their favorite school was- they would undoubtedly enthusiastically say 'Horning Middle School'. It's a class act from top to bottom. The school staff works extremely well as a team, and it shows. Students are valued by the staff, and parent input is welcomed. The 'house' system works well in helping the students adjust to middle school education. My children would proclaim their excitement about many things with Horning, but what stands out in my mind is the strong academic program, which prepared them well for high school and beyond. The music program is top-notch, and leadership opportunities abundant. Intramural sports are also popular, and attract a large number of students. In fact, my children were so enthusiastic about one teacher, that they were considering nominating this teacher for the Disney Teacher of the Year Award-.
the teachers are the best!! they make learning really fun and interesting! And its very laid back, which is good!
