As a former student at Tippecanoe High School, I can tell you it is both a great academic school and also very rewarding with a large span of extracurricular activities. The sports programs for the most part are always excellent. I would have to say the students aren't always nice to new kids if they come during high school. The student council was amazing. That was one of the reasons I enjoyed my high school experience. I would also have to say that this is the most safe school in the area. I never worried about seeing fights in the halls.

As a senior attending this high school, I must say I am rather impressed on some accounts. The new assistant principal is handling things nicely and the overall functioning of the school is rather nice. Tippecanoe offers a number of unconventional options that other high schools in the area offer as well, such at CTC or PSEO. I am involved in PSEO and currently attend both Tipp and a local college. I feel confident in my ability to excel in college and I am very thankful to have the tough teachers I've had, despite how much I disliked them at the time. Band, Academic Quiz team, Choir, Astra, and a million other clubs make Tipp an easy place to get involved, although many times some of the students are very close-minded about new people coming into the school system. Be ready for a challenge socially, and also academically.

School officials have a very good rapport with the community. Parents are very active within the school- most children are involved within the school and extracurricular activities.
