I graduated from Devall and now have a daughter that has been there from 5th to 8th grade. Devall's teaching staff (especially in 6-8 grade levels) are amazing! Scores are high and my child is excelling there. The only complaint I have about Devall is their lack of communication with parents. Last year my daughter received 6 awards at their end of year recognition program. I failed to attend because I didn't know about it! They don't send notices home about different issues or events like they should. They want parent involvement but don't give us the opportunity!!
I have had two children attend Devall and overall I have been very satisfied with the school and the academic progress of my children. I would however, like to see more parental involvement and see stronger disciplinarian measures taken. The staff at Devall is above average and I am certain that my children will move onto higher academic learning with a strong background. I feel that the students are, for the majority, good students and will maintain a high priority on their academic success. I am proud to say that my children are Devall Vikings.
