Mann William B School

Mann School is making a comeback! After years of discipline problems and low test scores, they have met AYP for the first time in years! The behavior in the school has improved drastically, because the new principal, Mr. Smith doesn't tolerate the nonsense! There are some teachers who seem to not really care about the kids, but overall, the staff is helpful. We need more parental involvement! Come on out and hep make Mann School the great school that it has been in the past.

This school is horrendus (cant spell, maybe i went here) seriously. My children came to this school, in love with academics. They come home crying because they cant learn because the students have no type of discipline whatsoever. There are a few GREAT teachers, but who is willing to take the chance of getting that teacher? This school needs to be rejuvinated, something.! Seriously!

This school is horrible. There is no consistency, no security. My son attended this school for two years and has had a total of 7 teachers. My son has learned nothing at this school.And the teachers make up grades because they have not taught anything throuhout the year. When I questioned the principal she stated she would look into it and nothing happpened

William Mann Elementary doesn't look the greatest from the outside, but the school is filled with a professional and knowledgeable staff. Many Philadelphia public schools have been given an unfair reputation. This school is a fine example of a public school. The principal is wonderful and very involved. The students actually love to show up and learn! I recommend this neighborhood school, because they are making the most of our tax dollars. Keep up the good work!
