Teachers and staff are professional and courteous. However, students are taught the test and free thinking is NOT encouraged. This school may rate as an A+ but this does not mean that students are being taught to think, just take tests.

This is very much a teach to the test school, so if you are looking for your child to be educated to be a factory worker you have come to the right place.

My oldest daughter attended Antioch 3rd - 5th grade. We loved it. We left Okaloosa county for a couple of years and during that time my second daughter had to go to other elementary schools. I never found another school that I thought was as good as Antioch. I don't believe that any school is perfect but I think Antioch is close enough. The principal is great and stays on top of everything. And majority of teachers are wonderful!

Our six-grader Daughter, enjoys the freedom of choice. We allow her to pick and choose as she makes good choices, she has demonstrated responsibility in her decisions. Making (Pizza) & Tomatoes) are Vegetables came from USDA. Freedom of Choice.

No. I prepare my son's lunch just about every day due to his special needs so I know what he is consuming both for him and his class. I want to be aware of all ingredients in all foods/drinks which he is consuming.

If it is to keep allergic kids safe, then no. A strict rule of no peanuts or pb&j should be enough. My child's school had a peanut free table for double insurance. If for "nutritional" reasons, then NO! Since when is pizza a veggie????... More »
