Charnock Road Elementary School

My son graduated from Charnock Road last year and attended this school since Kindergarden and loved it! I also have a daughter who is in the first grade and has attended this school since P-K. She also loves it. This is a very good school and our family is pleased to have our children attend this school each day. The teachers are fantastic!

The Principal does not know how to communicate with parents. Very limited amount of information comes home regarding events at the school. All commettees are in the morning so working parents can not participate.

My son is enrolled in Charnock and let me just say they never ever call me to inform me about anything going on with my son. They take it upon themselves to move him around and whatever else they like. Meanwhile when I do see the prinicpal and teachers they tell me something different then what my son says. I really dont appreciate how they are with him and the way they take it upon themselves to take ownership instead of informing me of their plans. I have never received a letter nor phone call from them stating anything regarding my son, but I hear things from my son that should have my approval about his education. I am considering on taking my son out of this school after christmas break and putting him somewhere else because Charnock acts like parents dont have any rights about their childrens education.
