We have been at Life Christian Academy for 8 years. The most noteworthy aspect of this school is the love and concern for each other demonstrated by both students and teachers. The school also provides academic and extracurricular opportunities for students with a wide range of abilities and interests. Students from this small school have won state and national honors in fine arts, performing arts, essay contests, debate, science fair, and Future City competitions. It also offers a special program for dyslexic students. Parental involvement in the school is extremely high.

No. I have heard of teachers setting up FB pages on areas of study so students can use technology as a learning tool. All posts are public and private messages are disabled. I won't even friend former students. I do it as a rule-no hurt feelings.

No! As an educator, I don't want to be held responsible for what students are doing outside of the classroom.

Absolutely not. Most schools offer the homework question site through the school system. They do not need to be "friends" with their students through social networking sites.
