I attended Bowler School and my son attended Preschool. Bowler worried more about disciplinin children than teaching them. I left there with no preparation for college and can't think of much that I actually learned in High School. My son didn't learn anything in pre-school and rec'd very low test scores. The teacher never communicated what was going on in the classroom and didn't prepare him for kindergarten at all. My son entered kindergarten this year at a different school behind. That id how hard they work for the kids that attend this school. If you are moving to the area please consider open enrollment and send your child to Gresham. This school is terrible on all levels!

I go in every Monday and help with the Kindergarten reading group or play word games. Then I eat lunch with my child. I also attend and bring things to all school parties. Since I volunteer only on Mondays I do not burn out. : )

Our school gives us mandatory hours (15) that we must give to the school in one way or the other. It is very easy if you don't mind stuffing envelopes or being a lunch mom. I think they even give working moms the opportunities to work on paperwork.... More »
