wrong. i have neither of those two 'requirements', yet i feel like i have done well at BC High. I never regretted my choice to go there, and i doubt whether you are actually a student there, because no one that i know would say that. and while they may be the toughest years of my life, they have also been the best.

To be complete honest, if you want to succeed at BC High you need two things: Money and well connected parents. If not, then you will be put through the toughest four years of your life

My older son is a graduate of BC High, my younger son is currently enrolled. There is an age difference of eight years, so I can say from experience that BC High just gets better. The faculty and staff mean it when they say they care about the students - it is evident everywhere. I feel that faculty and staff hold themselves to the same standards of citizenship and personal growth that students are held to. BC High is very demanding academically, but there is a very strong feeling of community and it does not end after graduation. Both our sons love BC High. My daughters and their friends have often said they would go to BC High in an instant if it were a co-ed school. By the way, we are not from the south shore.
