A truly terrible school. I've been a student here, my entire life and I'm graduating this year. There's no order, the kids run the school, and there's absolutely no respect. The new principal, Mrs. Morley, does NOTHING but enjoy listening to herself talk - she'll go on for hours about how "Students here are the arrows, and education is the target.", and "Ethan Allen is a peaceful school, we respect and care for one another", yet does nothing when Lincoln High kids come and beat up eighth graders in the school yard after school. It's absolutely filthy - I was jealous when I saw how clean my friend's high school is. Students have assaulted teachers here, and don't suffer any consequences. Two kindergarteners went missing one day during school hours, and the school didn't even report it/contact the parents. Crossing guards found them at a playground, almost a mile away. Thankfully, I'm graduating eighth grade in a couple weeks, however, I'm extremely discouraged that a majority of my childhood was wasted at a school like this. If you care about your child's education/safety, do not send your child here.
Deeply troubled school. Serious problems with overcrowding & disorganization. Bullying and misbehavior disrupt large amounts of instructional time. Administration overburdened and ineffective. NOTHING gets resolved and students are suffering.
please I need concrete information about the school, because I moved near the school and I have a son who goes to that school and want to know if the school is reliable and good to enroll my child. Please I need information as soon as possible, thank you very much.
My one child was assaulted by six students at Ethan Allen in her classroom. My 2nd grader had a pocket knife held to his throat. I never received any notification from any administrators on either incident. There is a predominance of bullies and lack of responsibility by the adults.
