I am so happy that i enrolled my daughter in DBCS. She started on her 3rd birthday in March and by Christmas break she was reading. By Spring Break she was adding 0's and 1's. I couldn't be more proud of her or more satisfied with her teacher. She will be in pre-K again next school year due to her age, but academically, she is more than ready for kindergarten. Her teacher will be teaching her on 1st Grade level and that is one ot the things I really love about Charter schools. She will be taught on her own level and challenged rather than being held back from learning just because her birthday is late in the year. I recommend charter schools for anyone who is concerned about their child's education.

I absolutely love her school. Their academic program is great. She has my now 5th grader testing at an 8th grade level. She doesn't teach much music, art, sports or other extracurricular activities but they get that at home. She request parental involvement at the school and other outside activities that may occur. I will end this saying once again that I love the school and Deborah Brown for what she does for my children educationally, emotionally, and physically.
