Principal Simmons has returned Hunt HS to the school of choice. The faculty and students are functioning on a high level of enthuisiasm. It is amazing what happens when the leader of anything listens to the people that work for them. Fair treatment goes along way not to mention his passion to see the students succeed

With the new principal taking charge this school has turned around! He was an assistant principal while I was there and I'm ecstatic to hear that he's in a higher position. He was always one to be not only fair, but also connect with the students on their level. Of course, every person has their own opinion and every school has its quirky characters but I loved every year at Hunt. The teachers were always great and many of them are still good friends outside of the building now that I've moved on. They truly care about their students and they're always willing to help or listen when someone comes knocking. Even after years of college education behind me, my best teacher by far was here! :D

Since these last reviews were sent in things have drastically changed. We have a new principal now and the staff, parent and students absolutely love him. He is respectful and always there to lend a listening ear to anyone who has a problem. He treats everyone as they would want to be treated and people respect him back and love him as a person and an administrator. He is correcting the issues that came about while the last principal was there and things are getting back to the way we as teachers and the students come to know and love in the past.

School has excellent faculty and staff as well as a wonderfully well managed facility. Students please remember that your personal relationship doesnt warrently a bad review because things dont go the way you expect them to, but give honor where honor is due and take pride in your school and help make it a better place for you to learn.....Educator

Our six-grader Daughter, enjoys the freedom of choice. We allow her to pick and choose as she makes good choices, she has demonstrated responsibility in her decisions. Making (Pizza) & Tomatoes) are Vegetables came from USDA. Freedom of Choice.

No. I prepare my son's lunch just about every day due to his special needs so I know what he is consuming both for him and his class. I want to be aware of all ingredients in all foods/drinks which he is consuming.

If it is to keep allergic kids safe, then no. A strict rule of no peanuts or pb&j should be enough. My child's school had a peanut free table for double insurance. If for "nutritional" reasons, then NO! Since when is pizza a veggie????... More »
