The school is good if you have a normal child. They are not equipped to handle children who have specific learning needs. The special ed department is horrible!

I have been very pleased with the follow through on the part of my son's Kindergarten teacher. Mrs. Z communicates with me about my child in a way that helps us to make good decisions about his education and growth as a person.
This school has a very caring and supportive environment. The principal and her administrative staff are capable and involved. We have had two great teachers in 2nd and now 3rd grade, and our son feels very involved in his school. He is very comfortable and happy learning there. We are very lucky to have moved to a town with such a great teacher/student ratio and one of the best school systems in the state. We moved from West Windsor, and it is a breath of fresh air to have our son in a school system where administrators, teachers, and students all know him. The difference between these great school systems is that our above average but not AP children in West Windsor fell through the 'cracks' in a system that caters to the high achiever. Sharon school has taken our son and set him up to excel. We are so happy.

In general the teachers are caring and put in the extra effort for the children. I question the administrators though. Politics and budgets seem to override education which makes it difficult for the teachers to do what they need to do for all students. If your child catches on quickly then you will not have any issues but beware if your child actually needs to be taught!
