I would consider Urban Christian to be a good day care school from the new-born class to pre-k/K. You can't ask for a better school during those years. I woudn't suggest sending your child to the regular academic program because I don't feel the teachers are knowledgable enough to teach the content of regular academic classes. Computers theres are dinosaurs. You do have to participate in fundraisers, like the school wide bazaar, which is not worth the money that you are required to pay or your child will be kicked out. You also have to pay for other minor events throughout the school year that are used for fundraisers. The low day care rate is justified by all of the fundraisers that take place that help benefit the school. The teachers are great, and they really love the children. I would recommend with reservation.
Hi. I am a parent and is satisfied with the care in which my child is receiving. Could not have asked for a better environment for my one yr old son, being his first time at daycare. He's becoming more and more aware of his surroundings and is developing social skills and is even counting to ten. Great job! Keep up the good work Urban Christian.

This school is the absolute best. I've never seen a school so well rounded. The teacher's are so great, not to mention the principle, she is so amazing and wonderful. I love this school and recommend this school to all parents
I can only speak for the daycare thru pre-k portion of the school, my child started there when he was only 7 months old-his vocabulary and his motor skills exceeded the normal standard. The teachers in the daycare portion are awesome, they give your child love and homely care...each day I left my child to go to work I felt as though I was leaving him with a family member. The only reason I have removed my child from there is because it was time for pre-k and it was more advantageous to for my family to have our child in public school. Since it is a Christian school you are obligated to make only one church service a month...which should not be a problem if you belive in the Lord, making service should not be a problem. Overall I will say that UCA served my child well.
