We have been very happy since our daughter first started attending OLA 6 years ago. Our child has been challenged academically in a nurturing environment where she can be herself. Class sizes tend to be large but the school is still small enough that it feels like a family.

This is a good example of a community school. Parents are very involved (Just try and get a seat to any performance where the kids are involved!) and the teachers make the curriculum challenging. It's probably one of the most well rounded schools in Worcester. And the kids coming out of OLA are well prepared for any high school they choose. As with anything, you get out of it what you put in.

My daughter graduated from OLA and we miss it terribly! She is very prepared for high school, I couldn't have asked for a better elementary school education for her. OLA is a great school. The principal knows every child and every parent, the teachers care so much about each student's success. The kids are involved in so many things there like National Junior Honor Society, yearbook, the school newspaper, soccer, basketball, and the list goes on. They do so much to make it a well rounded education. I continue to recommend OLA to everyone I know with young children.
