Excellent school! My son transfered here in 3rd grade. All of the staff learned his name quickly and were very welcoming to him. This was very important for us as his father just deployed to Afghanistan and we needed an easy transition. He is now in 4th grade, and is still thriving in Spaulding.

Both of my girls go here. One of my girls have multiple handicaps and this school has been outstanding. The other was in a private school who after free psychoevaluation prepared an individualized education plan that the private school said they could not compete with. This school has very caring staff, excellent teaching skills and a big heart for the kids. We are so blessed.

Both of my boys have gone to this school. They have both improved greatly in the years they have attended. They are helped, pushed and encouraged academically as well as socially.

We test kids at the end of the year and beginning. Kids that don't keep up during the summer take a giant step backwards. If our kids do complain about homework, we ask them,"Do you want to work for a company, or own the company?"

No. Let the children have a break. Let their minds focus on being children. They'll have plenty of homework when they go back to school. I would not even consider enforceing summer homework for my children. They need stress free playtime.

Yes. Of course summer is for fun however they can take a brake from homework 2 weeks or so, not the whole summer. If you teach a child the importance of learing they will enjoy the homework even in the summer.
